Main body has btm entering agit driven by Falk worm gear agit, 38.21 ratio, 29.7 rpm output, direct coupled to 10 HP, 3/60/230/460 volt, 1175 rpm TEFC motor. Packing gland on shaft. Openings top 1-28" w/cover, 1-18", 1-4" center; btm 1-3" outlet w/flush valve. 18" top opening is connected to condenser and receiver. Has 75 gal 304SS vert tank w/weld dish top and 20" cone btm. Tube Evaporators

- Egg Yoke Evaporator. Comprises of a quintuple effect APV Falling Film Evaporator System complete w/ plate type heating elements vapor separators, 5 recirculation transfer pumps & motors. 2 condensate pumps & motors. 5 pre-heaters. Vacuum pump & motor. Barometric condenser. Magnetic feed flow meter and steam flow control valve. All of the exposed liquor surfaces will be constructed from titanium materials In addition the system will be suitable to process food grade solutions consistant w/ the FDA requirements. This evap. will be capable of removing 48,500 #/hr of water from a weak feed solution and to concentrate same to a concentration suitable for subsequent dehydration. The steam requirements will be approximately 5# of evaporation/ # of steam at 25 psig pressure. Also, the system can be convertd to a Thermal-Recompression operation for a modest additional investment which would increase the economy from 5 to approx 6.0.

Wiped Evaporators
- 214 sq ft Hitachi Ltd CS dual wiped film evaporator system. CRN #4972-6, 4972-7. Jkt rated 660 psi @ 572 deg F, int rated 28 psi @ 572 deg F. Unit has (2) separate 107 sq ft evaporators. Shell .984" thick, jkt .630" thick, head 2.047" thick. SN 8032994, 8032995. Each unit has top mtd 100 HP motor and drive. Gearbox mfd by Ichikawa Mach Ind, 17.53 ratio, 1150 rpm input, 65 rpm final rotor speed, belt driven by 100 HP, 3/60/575 volt, 1180 rpm motor. Mech seal on shaft. Each evaporator overall dimensions are 40" OD x 23' str side plus 7' for drive. Evaporator has cone btm w/5 HP rotary valve on discharge. W/each evaporator is shell and tube condenser rated 660 psi @ 572 deg F shell side, 430 psi @ 572 deg F tube side. Mfd by Hitachi, SN 8032997. 26" dia CS shell, 18' overall length. System has evaporation cpacity of approx 11,000 lbs/hr solvent. Designed for continuous operation.
