- 267 sq ft (25 sq meter) automatic chamber filter press. Designed for the efficient filtration of slurries or suspensions containing from 10 to 500 Kg solids per cu meter. Capable of performing the following operation in sequence as required filtration, 1st cake pressing, cake washing, 2nd cake pressing, air drying and cake discharge. Filtering area 25 sq meter, cake capacity 1.1 cu meter, max operating pressure 16 Kg/sq cm. Closing of plates is effected by (2) hydraulic rams or cylinders acting in parallel on either side of a central column final locking-in position achieved by an independent hydraulically operated wedge. Filter cake discharged by automatic release of fixing wedge and lowering of main rams, followed by movement of the filter cloth belt over end rollers w/scraper knives.
