Extruder gear reducer is Phila Size 3218, having 141 reducer ratio. Extruder drive system consists of 500 HP Reliance DC motor, 1750 rpm, direct connected to reducer giving an extruder screw speed of 125 rpm max and free standing Reliance DC SCR drive controller.
